"I volunteered to take part in Strictly Christmas 2017 with no dance experience at all. My main aim was to raise as much money as I could for such an amazing charity.
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have an absolute ball. In the safe hands of my dancing partner Graham, I was so proud to whirl around the ballroom. Felt like a real star! My girls make dancing look so easy but believe me it's not. Having such a great team of dancing friends and lots of fun along the way I can honestly say that this is one of the most wonderful experiences ever."

"Doing the first ever Strictly Christmas was surprisingly the most enjoyable thing I have ever done!
Yes it was nerve racking, hard work and took me way way outside of my comfort zone for a former rugby player but it was brilliant.
I started as a complete novice (the only dances I could do was pogo and ‘dad dancing’) and went on to place 2nd & 3rd on the two shows. I enjoyed it that much I have carried on with lessons. Give it a go, you will never regret it. Oh, & my partner wasn’t too shabby either."
